I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was wonderful!

Today I'm working on a 24" X 24" canvas and using every color under the sun.  I just let loose with this one and was actually pretty happy with the results.

Creative Heart Monday - Leap of Faith (Trying Acrylic Pouring Again)

Happy Creative Heart Monday!

I love watching other artists created beautiful poured pieces.  However, I've just never had good luck with mine.  I don't know if it's the paint.....the ratio of mediums to paint.....or what!

Never one to give up easily, I'm giving it another try.  In the past, I've used the "dirty pour" method.....dropping each paint color mix in one large cup, the turning it over on the canvas.  This time, I'm just slinging the paint around and swiping it here and there.

As you will see, I did actually manage to get some cells this time.  My colors leave a lot to be desired, but I just might have the mixture down.

Creative Heart Monday - Courage and Believe Wooden Panels

Happy Creative Heart Monday!

I'm still working on inventory for my next show on November 11th and 12th.  I know that my last few Monday videos have been sort of similar, but I'm under the gun with this festival and I just can't make anything that's not going to be sold there.

I've also almost finished my October "Inspiration with the Greats".  I started my Georgia O'keefe painting early last  month, but just haven't had the time to put the finishing touches on it.  I promise that I'll get that up soon.

Okay...enough about my time constraint issues.....here we go
