As I've mentioned in prior posts, I will have a booth at VegFest on February 17th, so I'm working on my inventory.

These magnets are super easy and very fun to make.  Here we go.......................

Acrylic Paint - your favorite colors
FW Daler Rowney Acrylic Ink - various colors
Golden Molding Paste
Stencils
Black Gesso

Gold Paint Pen
Black Faber Castell Pen
Glossy Spray Sealer

ATTENTION ARTISTS - I have MDF panels in a variety of sizes in my Etsy store.  I enclose a sawtooth hanger with each panel, so that you can choose whether you would like to hang it on the wall or display your art on a decorative easel.

Creative Heart Monday - My Vegan Kitchen Mixed Media Panel

Happy Creative Heart Monday!

I'm still working on pieces for VegFest  As I mentioned last week, I'm not a vegetarian or vegan but I'm making art that they might like.  Maybe one day I'll get brave and say "no" to fish and cheese.  My diet consists, largely, of beans and rice.....but I like fish and a little chicken sometimes.  Frankly, I can't believe that I still eat chicken since I have the sweetest little chicken as a pet and it makes me sick to think about people raising them to kill.  I can't even get rid of the little field mice in the chicken coop because I'm afraid that if I move them, they will be murdered by a cat or fox.

Creative Heart Monday...on Friday - Fiber Paste Chicken!

Happy Creative Heart Monday (sort of)

Honestly, I created this video on time, but then my computer decided to act up and I couldn't get it loaded on YouTube.  It's always something, isn't it?  Anyway, on February 17th, I'll be participating in VegFest, so I'm working on some pieces that might appeal to vegans and vegetarians.

I've always wanted to be a vegetarians, but I can't seem to stay away from fish (and the occassional meatball).

Creative Heart Monday - Mixed Media using Citra Solv Papers

Happy Creative Heart Monday!

I started one of my regular, mixed media pieces and I was going to use gel prints or my painted papers, but........................I decided to make some Citra Solv papers.  I haven't made any Citra Solv papers in several years, so it was something new to do.  I made two videos.....one showing how I make my Citra Solv papers, here........................and then today's project.
