Happy Creative Heart Monday!

I was grasping at straws this week, trying to think of something to do for today.  So, I did an abstract. I love using the acrylic ink, so I always seem to go in that direction when I don't know what to do. I've also been using napkins to collage on my pieces recently.

Creative Heart Monday - Abstract in Acrylic Ink

Happy Creative Heart Monday!

I love, love, love this technique!!!!  I'm really into the acrylic inks and Yupo paper.

I purchased an online class by Jodi Ohl.  I've, actually, bought a few of her classes and I've never been dissappointed.  I have a link to this class at the bottom of this post.

F&W Daler Rowey Acrylic Ink
Dr. Ph. Martens Acrylic Ink - Magenta, Red
Golden Fluid Acrylics - Quinacridone Magenta, Green Gold, Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold
Neocolor II Crayons
Black Acrylic paint in a Fineliner Bottle
Titanium White Acrylic Paint

Acrylic Ink Abstracts

I am loving these acrylic inks.  I have Dr. Ph. Martens and F&W.  I also used some High Flow Golden Acrylics.  The scribbly writing was black paint in a Fineliner bottle.

I can't wait to do more tomorrow!!!!

Creative Heart Monday - Three Wacky Flowers

Happy Monday to all of you Creative Hearts!!

This week I'm trying out a new supply....Daler Rowney FW Acrylic Artist Inks!  They are just so bright and pretty that I had to try them.

I started out on an 11" X 14" piece of Strathmore Bristol Paper.  I love this paper.....but I'm also have a canvas shortage.  I have to get some canvases this week, or I will end up painting on the walls.

While I was applying this ink to the paper, I was thinking of a million other ways to use this product.  I can't wait to play around with it some more.

 

I took an online course last week by Jodi Ohl.  It was great!  Maybe next week I will show you what I've learned.
