Gel Press® and StencilGirl Video Frenzy!!

We are moving into Fall, so Gel Press® and StencilGirl have teamed up this month.  Each member of the Gel Press® Creative Design Team has created a video of their project.

Creative Heart Monday - Black Eyed Susans and Phlox

Happy Creative Heart Monday!!

My husband picked some wildflowers on the side of the road.  The colors were so beautiful.  I wanted to try to paint them.  As you know, I usually do not just use paint.....but, I gave it a shot!!

At the end, I still wasn't happy with the painting, so I outlined all of the flowers, very loosely, with a black pen.....and, added a few highlights with a white pen.

Mixed Media Wooden House #9

I just completed another little mixed media house.  Like the others, I used a 2" X 10' board, cut down into 10" sections.  And......because I'm now addicted to the video camera, I filmed it.

These are really fun to make.  You can let your imagination run wild.  

It's December 1st, which means it's that crazy holiday time.  Try to take some time out for yourself.  Relax and create something, read a book, listen to music......just take time to be HAPPY!
