Creative Heart Monday - Leap of Faith (Trying Acrylic Pouring Again)

Happy Creative Heart Monday!

I love watching other artists created beautiful poured pieces.  However, I've just never had good luck with mine.  I don't know if it's the paint.....the ratio of mediums to paint.....or what!

Never one to give up easily, I'm giving it another try.  In the past, I've used the "dirty pour" method.....dropping each paint color mix in one large cup, the turning it over on the canvas.  This time, I'm just slinging the paint around and swiping it here and there.

As you will see, I did actually manage to get some cells this time.  My colors leave a lot to be desired, but I just might have the mixture down.

Here we go..................

Supplies

24" X 24"canvas
Two 8" X 8" canvases
Miscellaneous craft paints
Floetrol
Silicone
Miscellaneous items to move paint around

Check out my Etsy Shop.  I've just listed a lot of new pieces that would make perfect holiday gifts for friends, family, teachers, and co-workers.  There are many small, stocking stuffer, pieces!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Enjoy your friends and family.......and......try not to talk about politics. LOL.

PEACE!

I want to take a minute to mention Tom Petty.  His death last week made me really sad.  He was from my town and even though I never had the opportunity to meet him, many of my friends went to school with him.  I loved his music and  "Room at the Top" has always been one of my favorite songs.  RIP Tom.

Have a great Monday and a wonderful week.
