A Little Texture

I broke out the molding paste this week. (I used Goldens Hard Molding Paste).  I haven't used it in quite a while. Since I'm going thru a flower stage and I have a lot of flower stencils, I thought I would give them some texture with the paste.  You can also just use spackling compound to do this.

I used a palette knife to rub the molding paste over the stencils on a blank canvas, then started painting.  I also used acrylic glazing with umber paint to give it an aged affect.

Some closeups.

Here's another one.

This one has similar colors....but no molding paste....just collage.

Same thing here....the petals are painted over, collaged, paper.

Peace,

Cyndi
